Exeter City Football Club seeks to ensure the safety, safeguarding and wellbeing of all children, young people and adults at risk who engage in its activities.

The Club continues to be recognised for its exceptional experience in the EFL Family Excellence Scheme achieving gold at the end of last season, for the third year running.  As we enter a new season we want to continue to build on that success of the most friendly, engaging and innovative match day experiences for families.

We are seeking individuals that are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, enjoy working within a busy environment and want to become an integral part of our matchday team.

We need positive, dynamic individuals with excellent communication skills who are either experienced or looking to gain experience and new skills. We are keen to build up a level of continuity within our matchday departments, however we also want multi-disciplined individuals who are willing to learn and gain valuable experience within a variety of matchday departments supporting the business in delivering our matchday events. 
A professional appearance is essential ensuring care and attention of personal presentation as you will be representing the Company. Uniform will be provided where appropriate and all staff members joining the team will go through an induction process and receive training. A good level of physical fitness/mobility is required as you will be working in a fast faced environment and standing for long periods.
Hours will primarily be Saturdays and Tuesday evenings but will vary based on home fixtures and start and finish rimes will vary based on roles. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn some extra money as these seasonal roles may fit around an existing job or be a great opportunity if you are studying in the city at the university or college or within the local area as our central location and matchday work pattern may fit around studies. If you have had a career break and are looking to get back into work or looking for your first job, whatever your circumstances if you are willing to learn and can work effectively as part of a team one of our matchday roles may be the right role for you.
After a challenging few years, we appreciate everyone is faced with increased daily living costs and we are pleased to confirm that we will be entering our 2023/24 season paying the Real Living Wage of £10.42 per hour (age 18+) which is the rate independently calculated based on rising living costs including fuel, energy, rent and food.  A holiday payment will also be made which the Company will pay based on any accrued holiday for the specific pay period based on the number of hours worked. 
Exeter City Football Club is pleased to be a Real Living Wage Employer and pay the above rate of pay as recommended by the Living Wage Foundation which promotes paying workers an hourly rate that ensures they have what they need to afford everyday life. Please note the Real Living Wage is not to be confused with the National Living Wage and the Real Living Wage rate will be reviewed in September.
