We are recruiting Seasonal (Christmas) Retail Assistants to spread the joy and play a critical role in our club retail operation supporting customers in ticking off those wish lists, filling those Christmas stockings and helping with gift ideas and treats for the festive season!
Christmas is a magical time of year and as we prepare for the festive period we are looking to recruit enthusiastic Seasonal Retail Assistants to join the team and deliver an amazing customer experience as you will represent the Club in our busy city centre connecting with customers as the magical atmosphere builds.
Duties will include opening/closing the unit, showcasing products, assisting customers with enquiries, guiding them on available merchandise and processing purchases/payments.
Applicants will need to have a positive energy and passion for customer care, be friendly, self-motivated, trustworthy and reliable. Ideally candidates will have experience of working in a sales or retail environment, however this is not essential as training will be provided. This may be a great opportunity to gain some experience and knowledge of an industry you haven’t worked in before but would like to explore.
The retail unit will be based in Princesshay from 1st November and will be open 7 days a week usually 10am - 6pm although later on a Thursday in line with late night shopping evenings. With a variation of shifts available on a casual basis we have something to suit everyone offering and the opportunity to earn some extra money in the run up to Christmas.
Uniform will be provided and as an accredited Living Wage Employer we pay £12 per-hour.
If you have a flexible approach to support the Club during this busy period and don’t mind working within a retail unit that is partially exposed to the elements and the winter weather we would love to hear from you!
Prior to commencing work a right to work document(s) must be presented and references and a DBS Check will need to be undertaken.
