As of the start of the 2017/18 season, Alex had made two appearances for the Grecians with his debut coming in a 2-1 defeat at home to Hartlepool United in August 2016.
The central midfield player started playing for Exeter City Academy at under-11s and has spent successful loan spells at Weston-super-Mare and Truro City.
He has also played against the likes of Reading and Swansea City in pre-season matches for the Grecians.
