Born: August 11, 1993

Nationality: Gibraltar

Position: Midfield

City debut: City 3 Southend 0 (13/01/2013)

Jake's story:

Jake first received fame amongst City fans even before making his first team debut for the club when he scored the winning goal in an FA Cup first round tie while on loan at Dorchester in November 2012. His opponents that day? City's local rivals Plymouth Argyle.

Jake would go on to make his first team debut for City a couple of months later in a 3-0 win over Southend and then scored his first goal for the club in a 3-0 victory over Northampton Town in March 2013.

Jake made 12 appearances for the club that season but then found opportunities hard to come by the following campaign before going on to join Bristol Rovers, who had just been relegated to the Conference, in the summer of 2014.

Jake was an integral part of the Rovers squad that achieved back-to-back promotions from the Conference to League One, playing over 60 games for the club during those two years.

However, he failed to make an appearance for Bristol Rovers in League One and spent spells on loan at Newport County, Cambridge United and Forest Green before joining Torquay United on a permanent basis in the summer of 2017.

Jake has also played internationally for Gibraltar, featuring against the likes of Estonia, Malta and Poland.
