Chiedozie joined Exeter City on loan from Brentford on August 31, 2018, making his debut for the club the following day at home to Lincoln City.

The 21-year-old Nigerian-born winger moved to the Republic of Ireland in 2005 and is eligible to represent both countries at international level.

He started his footballing career with Cork City in August 2015 and went on to win the FAI Cup the following season with Turners Cross-based side.

He moved to Limerick in January 2017, where he linked up with Exeter City’s assistant manager Eric Kinder who was then assistant boss at Markets Field.

After impressing at Limerick, scoring eight goals in 32 appearances and being nominated for the League of Ireland player-of-the-month award on three occasions, Chiedozie caught the eye of a number of English clubs and moved to Brentford in January 2018.

He has made two first-team appearances for the Bees and is on loan to City, from the West London club, until January 2019.
