A product of the Reading Academy, Lewis Ward joined Exeter City in the summer of 2019.
The 22-year-old keeper never made a appearances for the Royals, but had successful loan spells at Aldershot, Hungerford and Margate before being given his Football League debut while at Forest Green Rovers last season.
That loan spell saw him play him play 14 times for Mark Cooper’s side including in two play-off semi-final games against Tranmere Rovers.
