Archie is a versatile player who can play up front, just behind the striker, wide right, wide left or in central midfield.

A graduate of the Exeter City Academy, Archie, from Bridgwater, signed his first professional contract at City last April having trained a number of times with the first team last season.

He made his first-team debut for City in the Checkatrade Trophy against Chelsea under-21s in the 2017/18 season and made his first appearance for the club in the 2018/19 campaign in a Carabao Cup victory over Ipswich Town. He scored his first goal for the club with a 25-yard shot into the top corner in a 2-0 win over Swindon Town on New Year's Day.

The 2018/19 season was a real breakthrough period for the youngster as he turned out 33 times for the club and he'll no doubt be targeting further progression in the 2019/20 campaign. Another proud moment came for Archie last season when he captained the club, at the age of 20, for their first round FA Cup match at Cambridge United. He made 45 appearances last season scoring one goal.
