James is a second-year scholar who is an attacking midfield player.
An Exeter-based youngster, who has been with the academy since under-9s, he has a fantastic understanding of the game and he sees things really well out on the pitch. He is a very creative player. He is one of three under-18s who has already signed a professional contract with the club.
James made his first team debut for City as a second-half substitute in the club's 2-0 win over West Ham United under-21s in the 2018/19 Checkatrade.com Trophy.
