A message from the staff at The Bob Lucas Stadium
Following our pre-season opener at The Bob Lucas Stadium last Friday, the club recieved the following message from Weymouth FC:We would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to the players, officials and supporters who came to Weymouth on Friday evening for our pre-season friendly game.
We were all so pleased with how many Exeter fans turned up and their friendly attitude in the bar and on the terraces. Our kitman asked to pass on his thanks to the players and backroom staff who left the changing rooms immaculate after the game, and we were impressed by how polite the players were when sorting out cups of coffee for the early arrivals.
It was a lovely way to start pre-season and we would all like to wish Exeter the very best for the forthcoming league campaign.
All at Exeter City would like to reciprocate Weymouth's kind words, and we wish them all the best for 2016/17.
