Experienced centre-half Jack Fitzwater has become Gary Caldwell's 11th signing of the summer.
The 25-year-old, who played over 100 games for Livingston in the Scottish Premiership, joins on a two-year deal having left Livi in the summer.
The Midlands born defender began his career with West Bromwich Albion, progressing through the academy for whom he was named Player of the Year in 2014-15.
His first loan spell was for Chesterfield, before he played 16 times for Hednesford Town in the National League North in 2015-16. He also played for Forest Green in League Two, scoring his first EFL goal on New Years Day 2018 against Wycombe.
Fitzwater spent three separate loan periods with Walsall in 2018 and 2019, making a total of 43 appearances - he also netted three times.
The 6ft 2in defender moved to Scotland in July 2020 and would become a regular in the Lions' back line, ending his time at the Tony Macaroni Arena with eight goals.
