Defender Will Aimson joined the Grecians on January 27, 2023.
Will, 28 put pen to paper on a two and a half year deal to become Exeter City’s third signing of the January transfer window and links up with the Grecians ahead of Saturday’s match at MK Dons.
Defender Will brings a lot of experience of League One football to the Grecians. He began his career at Eastleigh before signing for Hull City. Loan spells at Tamworth, Tranmere Rovers and Blackpool would follow before Will made the permanent switch to the Seasiders where he was part of the team that defeated City in the League Two play-off final in 2017.
Will would then join Bury for a season before signing for City’s neighbours Plymouth Argyle on a two year deal where he made forty appearances in League One. Will then signed for Bolton Wanderers in 2021 where he has made another 35 League One appearances.
