Striker Mo Eisa joined the Grecians on loan from MK Dons until the end of the season during the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old Sudanese international, who is out of contract at Stadium MK at the end of the season, bolsters Gary Caldwell’s attacking options with just two days left of the January transfer window.
Born in Khartoum, Sudan, Eisa moved to the UK at the age of the nine and began his career at Dartford after time with the Pro Touch Soccer Academy, with loan spells at Leatherhead, VCD Athletic and Corinthian before he signed for Greenwich Borough. At the London side, he scored 57 goals in 100 appearances, which saw him picked up by Cheltenham Town.
During the 2017-18 season – his first in the Football League – Eisa broke the Cheltenham record for most goals in a season with 25, which caught the eye of Bristol City.
He made six appearances for Bristol City before joining Peterborough United on a four year deal in June 2019, which was a club record fee for the Posh. He registered 16 goals in the 2019-20 Covid-reduced season and a further five the following year, before another club record fee saw him sign for MK Dons.
In 101 appearances for the Dons, he has scored 31 times of which four came in the first four league matches of this season.
Eisa made his international debut for Sudan in November and scored against Togo in a World Cup Qualifier, before being replaced at half-time by his brother Abo, who plays for Grimsby.
Mo will be sponsored by Hunters.
