Voting is now open for Exeter City Women's September Player of the Month award!
The Grecians began October with back to back losses at the hands of Watford and Real Bedford. Abbie Britton's side soon shook themselves off however and have gone unbeaten in four, with wins over Fulham, Torquay United and Billericay Town as well as a draw under the lights at SJP against Plymouth Argyle. The team now currently sit sixth in the Women's National League, and look ahead to future rounds of the WNL Cup and the Adobe Women's FA Cup in November.
Four standout performers have been nominated for this month's award; Sophie Gillies, Leah Burridge, Ishbel Zuurmond and Georgia Vaccaro.
This season's award is sponsored by the City Gate Pub and Hotel. Conveniently positioned just a hop, skip, and jump from Exeter’s historic city centre and Central train station, they're a firm favourite with the locals. With a fine selection of real ales and craft beers aplenty, they've got something to satisfy every taste.

Sophie Gillies
A memorable month for Sophie, a hat trick against Fulham sent city through to the second round of the League Cup and she followed that up with her 100th Grecians Goal in front of the Big Bank against Plymouth Argyle in our first Women's night game at SJP.
Leah Burridge
Now settled as a Grecian, Leah is showing her quality in the centre of midfield. Consistent performances in controlling the tempo of play and a battling display against Plymouth Argyle at SJP made it a great month for Leah.
Ishbel Zuurmond
Assists and goals for Ish as she continues to excel in a new wing back role, a crucial goal in city's win over Fulham and a succession of key performances in a good month for the Grecians.
Georgia Vaccaro
A first senior goal for G as she fired in the Grecians sixth at Torquay United, an assist and first league goal followed as city ran riot at Billericay Town. A breakthrough month for city's young star.
