Over £1,000 of travel to be won at SJP!

Stagecoach and First Great Western have great prizes in store for City fans

Two of Exeter City’s loyal travel partners, Stagecoach and First Great Western, are offering Grecians that come to Exeter City’s opening game of the season against Bristol Rovers the opportunity to win over £1,000 worth of travel!

Our friends at Stagecoach have given us an Annual Megarider Gold Season Ticket, which is valid for unlimited bus travel for an entire year in the Stagecoach South West area – worth a whopping £940!

One lucky winner will have a winning sticker inside the front cover of their matchday programme at Saturday’s game against the Pirates – so there’s an extra incentive to pick up your copy of The Grecian when you’re at St James Park.  The winner can redeem their terrific prize at Reception by presenting the winning programme.

Meanwhile, First Great Western will be adding to the already-attractive 50/50 Draw which takes place at half-time.  As well as the winning ticket being worth a great cash prize, one lucky person will claim a pair of standard class tickets from Exeter St David’s to anywhere on the First Great Western network.  So whether you want to relax on the beach in Penzance, or if you would prefer to see the bright lights of the capital by heading to London Paddington, a winning 50/50 ticket has a nice little bonus for two!

Bruce Henderson, Business Development Manager at Exeter City, said: “This is absolutely fabulous support from our two travel partners, Stagecoach and First Great Western.

“It is our policy to encourage travel in general and to games by public transport and we urge all fans to use buses and trains where walking and cycling are not possible and if all else fails, to at least try to car share.

“We would like to thank Stagecoach and First Great Western for these wonderfully valuable prizes and for all their support in general.

“We hope everyone will buy programmes and 50/50 Draw tickets and try to have the chance to win.”
