Team News: Grecians v Stags

4 January 2014

One change to City line-up

As expected, there is one change to the Exeter City starting XI that beat Torquay 3-1. Matt Gill, who had to come off after 16 minutes of that game with a suspected hamstring injury, is replaced in midfield by Matt Grimes.

With Grimes starting, there was a place on the bench for Jamie Reid who continues his comeback from an early season groin injury.

Mansfield boss Paul Cox made two changes to the team that managed a point against high flying  Burton Albion.

Captain Adam Murray had been hoping to make his 500th career appearance today but he has dropped to the bench. The Stags have brought in Lee Stevenson to play just behind a front two of Ollie Palmer and Matt Rhead.

Martin Riley, who limped off in their 0-0 draw at Burton, is replaced by former Scotland Under-21 defender John Dempster while there’s a place on the bench for Louis Briscoe.

Exeter City: Krysiak; Butterfield, Bennett, Baldwin, Moore-Taylor;  Wheeler, Grimes, Sercombe, Gow; Parkin, Nichols

Mansfield Town: Marriott; Sutton, Dempster, Tafazolli; Westlake, Clements, Howell, Jennings; Stevenson; Palmer, Rhead
