Jake Gosling leaves Exeter City

17 May 2014

Midfielder departs the Grecians

We can confirm that Jake Gosling has been released from Exeter City following the expiration of his contract.

The 20-year-old midfielder played a total of 16 times for the Grecians’ first-team, including four appearances in the 2013/14 season, and scored a single goal against Northampton Town.  He also spent six weeks on loan with Gloucester City last season.

Gosling also spent a period on loan with Dorchester the previous season, where he famously scored the winner against Plymouth Argyle in an FA Cup first round victory.  The Oxford-born man was also a regular in the Grecians’ side that progressed to the quarter-final of the Under-21 Premier League Cup.

Exeter City would like to thank Jake for his hard work and contribution during his time with the club, and wish him all the best for his future career.
