Marsh Kia park up at the Park

Marsh Kia, the main Kia dealers in the Exeter area, has this week nailed its sponsors colours well and truly to the Grecians’ mast in what both the club and company are confident will be the start of a growing and productive partnership.

The first step for the start of season 2015/16 is the provision of one of the new ‘Sportage’ Eco models for use by the club’s commercial staff, and the club’s Business Development Manager, Bruce Henderson (left) is pictured with Pete Underhill, his opposite number in Marsh Kia who formally handed over the keys of the car to the club last week.

Marsh Kia also entered a staff team in the PCUK charity 6-a-side tournament run by the club’s Football in the Community charity last Sunday at St James Park and will be looking to do other things with the club during the 2015/16 season as opportunities arise.

Pete Underhill said: “Kia, as a strong, vibrant and continually growing brand across the world, sees football as the main sponsorship activity for the company to be associated with and to use to raise its brand profile.

“As the area dealership for the brand, it seems logical to work with Exeter City, which is not just a football club but a real and award winning force for good in the community, working as it does with over 50,000 young people a year.  We have a strong community ethos ourselves in the Marsh Group and so we are really looking forward to being associated with such a unique and highly regarded club.”
