Winner Nick delighted and planning to put the money towards a family holiday
November’s winner of the Foundation £1,000 monthly prize was Nick Rush, seen in the picture receiving his cheque at the ground. Unfortunately Nick couldn’t get to the final match in November against Luton to receive his prize on the pitch, so he’s in the picture in front of an empty Main Stand!Nick has been a supporter for 17 years and watches most of the home matches from the Old Grandstand. His best memories of Exeter are the home leg of the playoff semi against Torquay when Wayne Carlisle scored the equaliser causing the whole city support to erupt, and the promotion season away game at Wycombe, when the City fans sang for 40 minutes constantly and drowned out the home support.
Nick was delighted with his win – which is going towards a family holiday in Italy next year, taking along wife Jo and youngest son Tom (season ticket holder on the Big Bank).
The Exeter City Foundation is a great deal, particularly for those who are regular supporters of the club.
