Update: St James Park Tannoy System

21 July 2016

An update on improvements to the matchday tannoy system

Exeter City understands fans' frustrations towards the current Tannoy System at St James Park.

Despite extensive efforts during the break between seasons, there were still sound issues present during the Bristol Rovers pre-season game.

An order was placed over the summer totaling 28k, of which 1.5k has been provided by Grecian Goal, for a brand new set of amplifiers and related equipment which will provide a higher quality sound output on matchdays. We are currently waiting for the installation of the upgraded system and every effort is being made to have it ready for the start of the season.

In the interim, we will be looking at further options to improve sound quality of the matchday announcer microphone for the upcoming pre-season visits of Burton Albion and Cardiff City.

Exeter City Football Club appreciates your support and understanding with this issue.
