Stephen strikes it lucky in February!
Saturday's match against Carlisle United was the first time the Exeter City Foundation monthly winner was drawn on the pitch, and proved an extra special occasion for long time Grecians supporter Stephen Lewis.Stephen, from Winkleigh, was pulled out of the pot by substitute forward Jamie Reid. The announcement went out around the ground and Stephen was on hand to claim his winnings of £1,000!
Stephen, seen in our picture with City Operations Manager Andy Gillard – is also a Trust member and Season ticket holder. He was taken by suprise by his win, he said “I've been a Foundation and Trust member since day one, it's fantastic to be able to help the club that I love out in any way I can. It was an added bonus to be able to step onto the pitch!”
“I plan to spend the winnings on some things for around the house and some home improvements. I would encourage anyone to find out more about the Foundation and to get involved”
