Match Preview: Exeter City vs Carlisle United

11 March 2016

A look ahead to the clash with the Cumbrians

EXETER CITY vs CARLISLE UNITED
SKY BET LEAGUE 2
ST JAMES PARK
SATURDAY 12TH MARCH 2016
KICK-OFF: 3:00PM

EXETER CITY look to keep up their recent good form as they prepare to welcome Carlisle United to St James Park on Saturday.

The Grecians have taken seven points from the past available nine, with up a 1-0 away victory against Cambridge United last time out

Boss Paul Tisdale will do without Alex Nicholls, who underwent an operation on Thursday. Carlisle boss Keith Curle hinted in midweek that he may look to bring a few loan signings in before the close of the window.

A donation will be made from the club and the Trust to Carlisle United pre-match following the recent Cumbrian floods.

You can pay on the gate at St James Park - see here for tickets.

"Carlisle are a competent team. They are slightly above us in the league, and played particularly well when we lost up there in October. They are well-organised, strong and have good disciplines. They certainly deserved to score against Dagenham in midweek, going by the stats, and like us, they are still going for the play-offs. Keith Curle has built a very effective team over the last twelve months, and they have players who can score goals. Most games in League 2 will pose a challenge, and this one definitely will this week." - Paul Tisdale
