The development of the new 3G pitch is into its third week
Work is currently progressing well with the development of the new 3G pitch at the Cliff Hill training ground.The contractors Sportfields are into their third week and are happy with the progress so far. They have been working long hours over six days a week to ensure the December completion is still on the cards; having been helped by the recent good weather.
The new 3G pitch replaces pitch 3 and has been extended, drained and excavated. Half of the new drains have been installed and Sportfields are a third of the way through putting hard-core in for the base of the 3G pitch.
The carpark has also been extended to allow extra space for staff, players, parents and visitors to the training ground.
Work is due to be completed on Saturday December 17th.
