Support CCT as they complete the Great West Run

5 September 2017

Sunday 15 October 2017 will see 30 members of the Exeter City Community Trust team (formerly Exeter City Football in the Community), its extended family of partners and programme participants taking part in the Great West Run.

CCT need your support to raise money for their charity and have set an initial fundraising target of £1500.

Please support your favourite coach, family member or someone who has inspired you along a difficult journey by visiting the Virgin Giving page and donating anything you can.

Once the target has been reached, any surplus funds will be split between CCT's charity partner Children's Hospice South West and The Exeter Sports Fund.

CCT use the power of sport, physical activity and health and wellbeing to deliver programmes for all parts of the community across the Devon and Somerset area.

30 plus full time staff, and 70 plus part time staff (supported by around 25 volunteers) are delivering on the frontline daily spending around 22,000 hours out in the community every year striving to improve life chances for all, often in the most deprived areas of greater Exeter and among the most disadvantaged groups in our society.

While football is CCT's beating heart, their work in the community has grown to extend far beyond. The health, education, wellbeing and physical activity programmes reach over 45,000 members of the community each year and around 48% of those programmes are not football. The spread of our work is growing all the time.

You don’t have to play football, support football, or even like football to benefit or participate. Whoever you are, young or old, whatever your ability or background, CCT have something for you.

Thank you for your support, all donations will enable CCT to provide further support to those members of our community who need it most.
