City-striker Jayden Stockley has been voted YOUR Hawksmoor Investment Management Player of the Month for December.
Jayden registered five goals in December in all competitions, taking part in all of City's matches and received 18% of total votes, with midfielder Jake Taylor coming close second with 17%.
The striker scored three times against Forest Green Rovers in the Emirates FA Cup, salvaging the away tie in the last few minutes after City had surrendered the lead to the Green Devils with a bullet header from Lloyd James corner. Jayden left it late again in the replay at St James Park, where he stooped to convert Hiram Boateng's low cross, setting up tomorrow's third round tie against the Premier League's West Bromwich Albion.
Jayden, rejoined the Grecians in the summer, signing on a permenent deal from Scottish Premiership outfit Aberdeen for a club record fee. Quickly settling back into St James Park, he has now hit 13 goals in all competitions.
