As we move closer to Christmas Day, and the end of a decade we take a look back at ten of the best games from the last ten years.
On day 8 we head back to May 18, 2017 and a game that certainly made any City fan feel the whole range of emotions one could possibly imagine at a football game and was undoubtedly one of the greatest ever nights at St James Park.
It's the play-off semi-final second leg and the tie is on a knife edge after a remarkable 3-3 draw at Brunton Park.
Through Ollie Watkins the Grecians gave themselves a two-goal lead on the night before they were pegged back by the Cumbrians who made the overall score 5-5.
With extra-time seemingly on its way, Jack Stacey worked the ball well on the right-hand side with Jake Taylor before the on-loan full-back scored his one and only goal for the Grecians as he smashed an effort with his left foot past the Carlisle keeper to send City to Wembley and St James Park erupted.
After the match, Manager Paul Tisdale said: "If it had gone to extra time we would've won it, because we had that mentality.
"Once they scored their goal there was a strange acceptance that we'd have to score another.
"They've come back at us so many times - they're so good at it - that we just thought 'crikey, we're just going to keep attacking'.
"It's been a very determined last 30 games to go from the bottom of the league to the play-off final, and we've still got more to go."
