As the completion date for the student block behind the Thatchers Cider Big Bank gets ever closer, the building site is changing in appearance almost on a daily basis.
One item that was looking for a new home was the 'Silent Soldier' silhouette, this had been in place by the site main entrance in Stadium Way and had been sponsored by Kier construction.
After conversations with Kier, Exeter City are pleased to announce that a final resting place for this 'Silent Soldier' has been established, alongside one of City's two Silent Soldier's, in the Memorial Garden inside the IP Office Main Stand entrance.
There is a third Silent Soldier, which was funded by the Supporters' Club is located on the St James Road wall of the Park building.
Exeter City would like to thank Kier Construction for their generosity in allowing the club to provide a resting place for this Silent Soldier.
