Thank you to all those Grecians that work for the NHS and sent in pictures.
You are all the true heroes in everything you do, and especially now. So we just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for everything you do.
Please watch the video below, featuing the perfect words from the Bard of ECFC, Rob Casey!
Not all heroes wear capes.
Many of mine wear shirts and stripes,
wear red and white both day and night,
wear shorts and boots and yes, tracksuits.
Some heroes even wear bibs.
Some heroes also wear scrubs;
tunics in hues of all types of blues.
Some heroes choose sensible shoes
to wear when they're saving our lives.
Not ALL heroes wear stripes.
Some heroes wear uniforms too,
or overalls; outfits designed
to be useful more than fashion inclined.
Key worker chic has purpose in mind.
The costume for heroes is blind.
And some heroes wear what they like.
Just sitting inside, on their behind,
some heroes are rather surprised
to find they're helping despite doing nothing,
maybe wearing nothing sometimes.
So no, not all heroes wear capes,
but true heroes always look great.
