1989/90 APPEARANCES: 2
Clive Stafford only made two appearances for the Grecians in the title winning season, having been loaned the to the club from Colchester United.
He had joined Colchester from Diss Town in 1989 and played 33 games for the club. He came to City in February 1990 and played in matches against Cambridge United and Carlisle United. However, those turned out to be his only games in red and white and he was released by Colchester United in the summer of 1990. He signed for Bury Town and then later played for six years at Sudbury Town where he helped them to promotion to the Southern Premier League in 1994.
