📝 Match Preview: Stevenage (H)

All you need to know ahead of Saturday's match at SJP

7 February 2020

Exeter City will be looking to bounce back from consecutive defeats away from home as they face Stevenage at St James Park on Saturday in a 3pm kick-off.

The Grecians have suffered back-to-back away defeats going into the fixture, but on the back of a few players returning from injury and a home record that has seen them lose just once at St James Park all season, they have plenty of reasons to be optimistic.

“We can delve deeply into the results last week and the fact that we didn’t pick up enough points, but our performances haven’t been too far away,” said manager Matt Taylor. “It is up to myself and this group of players to approach Saturday’s game in the right mindset, a positive mindset, because we are still in a fantastic position and people can’t forget that too quickly and we have to enjoy and pressures that come off the back of that.”

HEADS UP CAMPAIGN

Exeter City is uniting with football clubs across the country to kick off the biggest ever conversation on mental health.

On Saturday, February 8 at City's home match against Stevenage, the Grecians will join clubs across the nation to display the Heads Up emblem across stadiums, programmes and player kit, in a major unifying moment that aims to get the nation talking about mental health.
