October’s winner of the Foundation’s monthly BIG prize of £1,000 is Carol Eveleigh, seen in our picture here enjoying her presentation on the pitch at the recent match against Mansfield Town, alongside Club Secretary Andy Gillard.
Carol has put together a bit of background about herself and Exeter City, as follows:
"I adopted a love for Exeter City after meeting my late husband Dave back in 1981. We spent many Saturday afternoons cheering on the big bank at St James Park. My favourite players go back a bit - they include Kwame Ampadu, Barry McConnell and Danny Bailey.
"My fondest memory as an Exeter City fan was attending the FA cup 3rd round game at Old Trafford back in 2004 with Dave and our sons, Chris & Pete. Chris previously worked for the Community Trust and Academy, and Pete currently works for the Community Trust, so Exeter City has played a big part in my family’s life.
"I am looking forward to spending the money on flights to Canada for myself and my 18 month old grandson so he can finally meet his Uncle Chris, who now resides in Toronto and has done for the last 8 years."
