Nigel Atangana has expressed his joy in scoring in Exeter City's 3-1 win over Crawley Town on Tuesday night.
After the game The midfielder said:
“We’re quite happy with the win today. It wasn’t a good start from the team but we managed to get back; we showed a great reaction from the lads, and we are all happy and we are all focused for Saturday for the next game.”
When asked about the red card for Ashley Nadesan, Atangana believes it made it a slightly different game.
“Of course [it changed the game] when we play with 11 against 10 it’ not the same game. Sometimes, it’s not going the way you want. It was a mistake from me; I was lucky and it was a red card for them"
Atangana also believes it was vital for Exeter to end their run of 2-2 draws and take three points. “We had to turn draws into wins; we did it tonight and now we are all focused on Saturday to win and hopefully get a good win in front of our fans.”
