Matt Taylor has given his assessment as his Grecians picked up an impressive 3-1 win over Wycombe Wanderers at SJP.
Goals from Harry Kite, Archie Collins and Tim Dieng secured a big win for his side over a Wycombe outfit highly experienced in League One.
"A few of the group were disappointed with Saturday but that was a performance full of pace, power, intent and front foot play," he said.
"That felt like a proper Tuesday night under the lights and I hope the fans were entertained.
"We scored two good goals in the first half, and harry Kite is in the form of his life! It shows where he is with his game. Archie's goal was a real good move. But you're never ahesd with the game against Wycombe.
"It was a really stromg finish from Dave Wheeler but as the second half progressed we became more and more comfortable."
