The first winners of our new competition with club sponsor Carpetright are High Bickington Football Club.
The #WeWinYouWin competition sees Carpetright donate £500 to a grass roots sports team in the south west of England every time Exeter City FC win a league match.
High Bickington Football Club’s secretary entered the #WeWinYouWin competition after our win against Walsall and they were selected from the entries received. The small village team, which has been going for almost 90 years, normally holds fundraisers twice a year to keep the club running, but covid put a stop to their activity. The club will use the donation to make repairs to its pitch and changing rooms.
There is still time to enter this week’s competition following our win away at Walsall. To enter, all you need to do is follow the Grecians, if we’ve won, you’ll then have seven days to send your pitch to Carpetright, explaining who you are, why you deserve help and how £500 could help you to keep winning.
