Callum Rowe has given his assessment as he made his first league start for the Grecians in our goalless draw at Port Vale.
Recalled from his loan at Bath City to fill in for the depleted Grecians, Rowey played the full 90 minutes in a commanding centrol role.
"It was really good out there, I enjoyed, but it is a completely different standard to what I've been playing at," he said.
"I had to step up, but I had to enjoy it, get on the ball and see what happens. I wanted to show I can do the nitty gritty stuff as well as the technical stuff."
