Cheick Diabate earned a clean sheet as City clinched a 1-0 win at home to Wycombe Wanderers. A second-half goal from Sonny Cox and a penalty save from Vil Sinisalo made all the difference in secure three points on Boxing Day.
On the final result, Cheick said, "It makes me so happy, we've been on a very, very tough run. It's been a tough time for the team, the club and the fans."
"It's such a relief. You've got to give the boys their flowers, we all stood up to the challenge. Even though times are hard we've all stuck together. We're a good team, we've got a good bunch of lads and today we deserved it."
