Midfielder Kyle Taylor has given his thoughts as the Grecians prepare to face Wigan Athletic in the Emirates FA Cup.
Taylor has played a huge part in City's cup exploits this season, scoring the Carabao Cup first round winner against Crawley Town, and has featured in all six of the Grecians' cup matches.
"Overall I thought our performance was great [on Tuesday night] and we bult on a lot of things, and we had the energy, but it is always going to be moments," he said.
"The opposition can have two moments and score two goals [Wigan in the league match]. The energy has been there in the last few matches, and as long as we stay in the game we have a chance.
"We are taking Saturday's game in isolation -knowing Wigan and the confidence we can take from the previous match, we are in a good position to go and win that game."
