Assistant Manager Kevin Nicholson initially joined the club as the Academy's Head of Coaching in 2019.

The former Torquay United, Northampton Town and Notts County defender was formerly manager at the Gulls between 2015 and 2018, before moving to the red side of Devon. He temporarily took charge of City in 2023 following the departure of Matt Taylor, overseeing three wins, before Gary Caldwell appointed him as Assistant Manager, following the Scotsman's arrival at the club.
