Roles
Having once again been awarded gold standard in the EFL Family Excellence awards for the fifth year running and recognised for our ‘friendly atmosphere and outstanding customer service’ it is important we continue to build on this achievement.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable and professional individuals to join our matchday team. Roles are available in a variety of areas, including:
Bars: Serving snacks and drinks in our corporate spaces or bustling fan areas.
Stewarding: Ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all attendees.
Gate Staff: Ensuring the safe entry of all spectators into the stadium.
Club Shop/Retail Unit: Working in our Club Shop or retail outlet showcasing memorabilia.
Key Responsibilities for all match day roles include:
Deliver outstanding customer service to fans and guests.
Follow operational procedures to ensure matchday runs smoothly.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a positive and efficient team environment.
Maintain high levels of professionalism throughout the matchday.
What We’re Looking For
A friendly, outgoing attitude and a passion for customer service.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Previous experience in event roles is desirable but not essential.
Hours will primarily be Saturdays and Tuesday evenings but will vary based on home fixtures and start and finish times will vary based on roles.
These casual worker roles offer a fantastic opportunity to earn some extra money as these seasonal roles may fit around an existing job or be a great opportunity if you are studying in the city at the university or college or within the local area (our city centre location offers good transport links). This may also be a great opportunity if you have taken a career break and are looking to get back into work or looking for your first job, whatever your circumstances if you are willing to learn and can work effectively as part of a team one of our match day roles may be the right role for you.
We are proud to pay Real Living Wage which is currently £12.60 per hour which is the rate independently calculated based on rising living costs including fuel, energy, rent and food. As a Real Living Wage employer we have chosen to pay the rate of pay as recommended by the Living Wage Foundation which promotes paying workers an hourly rate that ensures they have what they need to afford everyday life.
