Grecian Player Survey

28 November 2012

Thanks for all your input on Player

Exeter City Football Club would like to thank the club’s supporters for all the feedback received through a recent survey about the subscription Grecian Player service.

The survey had almost 200 responses, which has given us a wealth of information which we can now collate, analyse and evaluate as we endeavour to improve the facility.

It is clear that the commentary service is one of the core features for many subscribers.  Grecian Player is the only place where listeners can hear full, live, digital-quality commentary on Exeter City’s matches and we recognise that it is crucial that this is fully functional on a consistent basis.

In the past, we are aware that this has not always been the case, and we have been striving to correct this with the help of Football League Interactive, BBC Radio Devon (who provide the audio commentary) and Perform (who host the Grecian Player platform).  We have been attempting to isolate and eliminate any faults that may have arisen which have caused any disruption.

During the past four matches (at home to Wimbledon and Rotherham, and away at Bradford and Gillingham) we are pleased to say that the commentary has been fully functional and worked without interruption.  We are determined to ensure that this will be the case in future too, and are hopeful that this facet of the Player service will continue to act reliably.

Meanwhile we have also listened to suggestions regarding particular features you would like to see on the subscription service to add more value to Player, beyond offering matchday commentary.  We will continue working to provide exclusive and engaging video features which we hope our supporters will enjoy.
