Deer Park Hotel and Conference Centre becomes the latest business partner for Exeter City FC

Deer Park Hotel is set in a stunning location nr Honiton, in the rolling Devon countryside just 12 miles to the east of Exeter. The weddings, meetings and conference centre is fast becoming one of the most successful venues of its type in the area. Exeter City FC, aka ‘The Grecians’, are extremely proud of the new arrangement to help develop the hotel’s general business and will be using the wonderful facilities there to help grow the club’s own client base.

Mike Arscot, the Sales and Marketing Manager at Deer Park said, ‘we have looked at the area and how we want to develop our own product against our overall objectives. We then looked at how and who locally is best placed to help us reach our target market. There is no doubt in our minds that Exeter City Football Club has the reach, appeal and network that we need and they have proved extremely professional to work with, so the decision to partner with them was, in the end, a natural and easy one to make’.

Mark Jenkins, who led the City team on the project, added, ‘Deer Park is not just a beautiful hotel, set in a wonderful location, it has a unique management style that reflects on all who work and visit there. It is such an uplifting and enjoyable environment to work within and we are truly delighted to be able to work with this great hotel. We now have our city centre hotel partners in The Southgate plus our North Devon partnership with The Brend Group and in Mid-Devon we have recently been lucky enough to add The Hartnoll. Now we have Deer Park in East Devon, which fits in beautifully and we are very grateful to Mike and his team for their confidence in our community owned club ’.
