Grecians reserves beat Forest Green in Cirencester

n Exeter City reserves squad travelled to Forest Green Rover’s training ground in Cirencester on Tuesday, and left 3-0 winners.

The game was deadlocked until the half-hour mark, when Connor Riley-Lowe opened the scoring – he rose well to head home powerfully from Arron Davies’ corner.

Matt Jay doubled the lead after half-time as Riley-Lowe turned provider – Jay was slipped in and finished neatly past Rovers goalkeeper Paul White.

The scoring was rounded off soon after for the Grecians by Ollie Watkins.  The forward – who like Jay is currently on loan with Weston-super-Mare – chased a long ball forward, rounded the goalkeeper, and slotted in City’s third.
