Dan Wiseman of Wiseman Productions, the Exeter based film makers, is committed to recording for posterity the film of Exeter City’s history making return to Brazil, 100 years after the club’s original visit in 1914 and including the scheduled game at Laranjeiras on 20th July 2014, which will kick off with the original ball used in 1914 when the club became the first team to play the very first Brazilian national team selection.
The resulting Wiseman Productions DVD will be the official club record and will be on sale post the tour so that fans and any other interested parties can have their very own record of a unique piece of football history.
As Dan feels deeply that this filmed record must be made and knows that the club is not in a position to fund it, he has most generously offered to make it for just his travel expenses alone – which he is currently seeking outside funding for – with the rights to any footage remaining with the club.
