25 August 2015

Starting line-ups ahead of the Capital One Cup clash

Paul Tisdale has named a strong-looking line-up for the visit to Sunderland in the second round of the Capital One Cup.

Tom McCready is handed his first appearance of the season as a starter, with Danny Butterfield and David Noble also coming in after not playing in Saturday's goalless draw with York City. David Wheeler makes his return from injury with a place in the starting line-up.

Joel Grant takes a place on the bench, and could make his first Exeter City appearance at the Stadium of Light this evening.

Sunderland manager Dick Advocaat has made just two changes to the side that drew 1-1 with Swansea City in the Premier League at the weekend, with Adam Matthews and Seb Larsson the men coming in.
