"I'm not sure about that! The team did all the hard work, and I really got it put on a plate for me to finish it off. It was great for us to get the win, and it feels good to be into the Third Round. I thought we were brilliant - we had a lot of chances, and maybe we should have seen the game off earlier than we did. We're a great team, and we're League 1 standard, so with the greatest respects to Port Vale, I didn't think there was much difference at all between us."I was hoping that I did get at least one chance after coming on, because I had seen that we were playing on the counter for the twenty minutes beforehand. Other than that, it was about doing the defensive work and trying to see out the game. Defending is another form of attacking, and that proved when we went up the other end, and there was a lovely ball through to me and I thought I finished it nicely. You can't complain with that!
"Of course, we'd all be delighted to now get a big team in the Third Round, but we'll just see what happens, and then when the draw is made we'll hope for the best."
