Remember departed Grecian fans with a plaque in the Memorial Garden at the Park

20 May 2015

If you have walked past the entrance to the main stand recently, you will have noticed how good the Memorial Garden is now looking due to the hard work of Andy Holloway and his team.  The plants are well established and descendants of the old Cowshed primroses are in full bloom.

You may also have noticed the memorial plaques in place on the facing wall.  There is the Trust’s plaque remembering players who lost their lives in the First World War and a number of individual plaques in memory of past Grecian supporters.

A great deal of research went in to sourcing plaques of good quality that will look good for many years and which can be moved and re-sited should it be necessary because of any ground redevelopment, so if you would like to remember your loved one by having a memorial to them placed in the garden, the plaques can be purchased for £60, to include your own choice of wording.

Examples of the plaque can be seen by clicking here and the application form contains full details which you can access by clicking here.

Orders should be placed with Andy Gillard at the Club.  Email him at andy.gillard@exetercityfc.co.uk or ring 01392 413954 if you wish to ask any questions.
