Applause For David Hunt

21 January 2016

Pay your respects in the twelfth minute against Accrington Stanley

AT THE AFC Wimbledon game just after Christmas, David Hunt fell ill on the Big Bank, as many of you would have witnessed. Despite the many valiant efforts to save him here and subsequently in hospital, he sadly passed away several days later.

His family have asked us to thank everyone who helped David at the time and to tell you all that, as some small consolation, he was here at St James Park, at a place he loved. In their view, with him being the staunch fan he was and very much a twelfth man for the team, the best way for us all to remember David would be to all to join in and applaud in the twelftth minute of this weekend’s home game against Accrington Stanley.

We ask you to join us in marking the passing of one of our own in David Hunt.

Thank you.
