City supporters stepped up at the Accrington Stanley match
WE WOULD like to give our thanks on behalf of the Exeter Foodbank to all those who made donations of food or money at the match against Accrington Stanley.The Foodbank did a superb job in kitting their fifteen volunteers out in Green tabards that were easy to spot.
You raised a fantastic total of £515.42 through the bucket collection. John Vinall, from the Foodbank, said: ”This is absolutely amazing and far in excess of my expectations, so a really big thank you to you (Trust) and the club for giving us this opportunity to hold a bucket collection at today’s match”.
The money will go towards the cost of rent, insurance, van costs and other costs associated with running such a worthwhile charity.
This is the second year that the club and Trust have given their support to this deserving cause. Last year you, the fans, showed so much support for the cause that we have had a permanent collection point in the club reception for the last few months.
