Looking for something fun to keep your children busy over the Christmas School Holidays? Exeter City’s Football in the Community run a wide range of courses and activities during the Christmas Holiday in Exeter, Teignmouth, Exmouth and Sidmouth?

The activites run from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd December and include Football Fun, Grecian Girls, 5-a-side tournaments and multi-sport move and learn.

This year hours have been extended from 9am-5pm and ‘Drop and Shop’ sessions have been added in Exeter, providing a convenient location to drop off your children for festive football fun whilst you finish those last-minute Christmas preparations. Prices won’t break the bank and start from as little as £17 for a half-day and £25 for a full day.

Football Fun sessions for 5-14 year olds are suitable for all abilities. The main football focus is fun and participation through skill development and games including competitions and tournaments – with lots of prizes to be won!

The Christmas 5-a-side tournament for ages 12-16, runs on Thursday December 22nd between 12-3pm at Exeter School. It is a fast, competitive, small-sided football tournament. A great way of enjoying the fantastic game with a bunch of friends.

Grecian Girls is suitable for girls between the age of 5 and 14 years looking for a fun introduction to football, or who are interested in learning new skills to take back to their clubs or school teams.

The Multi-Sport Move and Learn sessions give children aged between 5 and 14, 45 minutes completing fun packed practical sessions of football, handball or dodgeball. The programme encourages physical activity, promotes nutritional education and builds awareness of the importance of a healthy diet and active lifestyle.

Football in the Community Holiday Sessions include fundamental movement work, skill sessions, small sided games and various competitions with an emphasis on fun, in a safe and structured professional environment.
 
Holiday courses are a great way to make new friends and have some fun throughout the school holidays, while learning new skills as an introduction into football or a progression to take back to your clubs or school teams.

All coaching staff will have a level 1 or 2 qualification in Sports Coaching, ensuring your children are well looked after whilst making new friends, learning new skills and enjoying their Christmas break to the max.
