News from the Boardroom: Development updates

17 October 2016

City Chairman Julian Tagg gives an update on developments at St James Park, the Cliff Hill Training Ground and the Boardroom

Stadium redevelopment

Whilst of course everyone is extremely keen to know how the development is progressing, it is still not possible to define a date for commencement of work. However, much work is still in progress and as an example two planning applications have recently been submitted. The first being the movement of the turnstiles from the top of the jungle path to be relocated on Well Street. The second is the movement of the first aid and safety officer operation control tower to the opposite end of the away terrace.

As and when we are able, there will be further updates.

3G Pitch

Whilst new pictures might not show it, work is advancing at full speed and remains on schedule for completion on the 17th December. Thankfully the weather has been fortuitous (good in the week, and rain on the weekend) to allow for progression with the work. That said, we realise that anything can happen between now and then.

AGM

The next big step in the club’s progression is the upcoming AGM which I am looking forward to speaking at. We look forward to embracing the prospective changes in the boardroom, and welcoming the new chair.

Julian Tagg
Chairman
