Visitors to match day hospitality and conferencing at St James Park might have noticed big changes to their venue this season as Exeter City Supporters’ Trust have agreed a three-year sponsorship of the main conferencing and hospitality suite at St James Park.
The sponsorship underlines their commitment to the growth of the Football Club, and has led to a complete refresh of the room, including a repaint, new window blinds, new lighting and PA system.
Now named the Supporters’ Trust Suite the facility is the largest at the Club with a capacity for 150 people, its own dedicated bar area and a divide if needed. Breakout rooms are also available in close proximity.
The size and flexibility of the suite makes it a perfect location for conferences, parties and events. It is also used on match days for hospitality.
Commenting on the sponsorship trust chair Martin Weiler said: “As owners of the club we want our facilities to be continually improving. Upgrading the main suite is part of a series of enhancements going on around the stadium.
“The better the facilities the more they will be used. The more they are used the more income the club will raise. The more income we receive the more we can reinvest in the team and other infrastructure. It’s win-win all round”.
Exeter City’s head of commercial Mark Jenkins said: “The club is delighted that the Supporters’ Trust have taken over sponsorship, and given the facilities a much need overhaul. We are prouder than ever to welcome our hospitality and conferencing guests to this modern, upgraded space”.
